A strightforward roundabout junction. The next section opened in October 1980 at a cost of £8.6m; on which there is a unique suspension bridge carrying a rail line over the motorway at a skew angle - the towers reach 30m. It was the only section to be built 4 lanes wide rather than having to be widened later.
