The M25 curves away to the left as the main route, and a spur continues ahead to J19A after having dived underneath the M25. The spur is classified as M25 and was formerly the terminal of the A405 North Orbital Road. From here to J23 was the last section opened in November 1986 (by Margaret Thatcher) at a cost of £81.2m.
