A blue sign with a diagram showing a branch off the road ahead and the following text.
Forward destinations: The NORTH; Wetherby.
Exit destinations: Rotherham; Doncaster; A630; [Hollow diamond diversion symbol] [Solid square diversion symbol].
Junction number: 36.
Now that we've reached Doncaster, some older signs show a forward destination of Wetherby - a small town, positioned between Leeds and York, but since the A1 doesn't actually go to Leeds or York it was Wetherby that gets the limelight. On newer signs, you'll just see Leeds.
