A long run at 50mph brings our three-lane dual carriageway to this little roundabout, which has long been on Transport for London's wishlist for replacement with something less prone to accidents. Beyond the roundabout is a two-lane dual carriageway, complete with houses and driveways fronting onto it, which is still shared by the A1 and A41. It's notoriously busy.
