A-road fork sign
A green sign with a diagram showing an exit branching off the road ahead and the following text.
Forward destinations: The NORTH; Newark A1 .
Exit destinations: Nottingham; Grantham; A52 [Hollow circle diversion symbol].
Just before this junction the A1 is crossed by a bridge made of a gently curved metal arch. It was installed in 2000, and rather pleasingly has "MM" embossed on its beams.
