Exit destinations: Retford [Hollow circle diversion symbol]; Ranby; A620.
We're some way west of the original A1 here, which passed through Retford. The modern road follows parts of the former A614 and A57 because they were easier to convert to dual carriageway and form a natural Retford bypass.
