Right-hand two lanes destinations: The SOUTH; Wetherby; Leeds; A1(M).
Junction number: 53.
This is Scotch Corner, one of the UK's most famous road junctions. For years it was signposted on the A1 for many miles in either direction, but isn't used that way any more, and its name doesn't even appear on the sign at the exit.
