Junction number: 49.
Junction 49 is a relatively minor exit in this direction, but once we pass it the A168 comes piling in from the left, bringing traffic from the A19 that has come via Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Thirsk. Beyond this junction the motorway is far busier.
