Change Route: M6 North

The start of the M6, Britain's longest motorway. Recently this junction was modified to accommodate the brand new A14 from Felixstowe. If you notice the road's quieter after this, it's because south of here the six-lane M1 has to carry all six lanes of the M6's traffic as well as six lanes of its own traffic.
