These aren't here to keep you from falling asleep, but due to opposition of this scheme the corners veer the motorway away from the nature reserves and such like. The motorway is a lot emptier now, and though these corners can be, and have been, taken at high speed, the design speed of this bit of road is little more than the 70 limit.
