No matter where you joined the M1 northbound, this is your first opportunity to leave - ten miles from the start back at Staples Corner. It's the main junction for Watford, but it's also where you need to leave for the M25 westwards, since the M1-M25 interchange doesn't offer any exit for traffic heading in this direction.
