Junction 19 can't be accessed from this direction, so we only see a sliproad merging in.

We're now at the end of the newest length of M25; the part we're joining, from here to junction 17, opened as part of the A405 North Orbital Road in the 1970s, but only became a motorway when the adjoining section to J16 was opened in 1985.
