The A12 is a great road and it will efficiently carry you to Chelmsford, Ipswich, the East Coast ports and East Anglia, but you are advised to ignore this sign's suggestion that it will get you to Central London. It will do that, if you absolutely insist on it, but there are better ways to spend your time.
