We've just travelled the Morriston and Llangyfelach Bypass, opened in 1972 and one of the earliest bits of the Welsh M4. Beyond this junction, the rest of the motorway opened in a single jump in 1977 - a year in which seemingly most of the Welsh M4 was built.
