This is another River Avon - not the one we crossed south west of Bristol, but a different one that also flows into the Severn. This is the one that Stratford is upon, which is why it has sometimes been called Shakespeare’s Avon.

We skip back and forth across county lines around here, but we’ll shortly be properly in Warwickshire.
