If you’ve been following the M5 from its starting point in Exeter, you’ll have grown used to seeing the A38 pop up at regular intervals - the two roads travel side by side throughout. This is, however, the last we’ll see of it: the A-road heads in to Birmingham now, while we pass around the west of the city.
