A blue sign with a diagram showing a branch off the road ahead and the following text.
Forward destinations: The SOUTH WEST; London (M40); B'ham (S); Redditch; Worcester.
Exit destinations: B'ham (SW); Bromsgrove; A38.
Junction number: 4.
This is our first encounter with the A38 (the UK’s third longest road, reaching from Bodmin to Mansfield via Exeter and Birmingham) - but by no means our last. We’ll see it repeatedly as we travel south west and it will eventually take over when the motorway ends.
