A fourth lane rejoins from junction 19 to see us up this big hill - it will end in a moment once we’ve got past the worst of the climb. We’re on the side of a steep slope, with the opposite carriageway below us to our right, and about to curve through a low point in the high ridge between Portishead and Clevedon.
