This junction is actually intertwined with the previous junction; and the exit sliproads pass under sliproads joining from the M1. This is the junction traffic wanting the M1 southbound must use; then it heads south on the A405 and joins the M1 at Junction 6. No particular reason to call it 21A rather than a full number, it was opened at the same time as the rest of this section.
