Recently reconstructed, this is Wisley Interchange, where the M25 meets the A3 - an A-road by name but a motorway in function all the way to the south coast.
The next length of M25, from here to J8 at Reigate, is one of the longer sections to have been built in one go. It opened in October 1985, linking the western part of the M25 to the southern. Its completion left only two gaps in the route.
