A red triangular sign with a symbol showing a lorry going uphill.
The sign has a supplementary plate that reads: Slow lorries; for 1½ miles.
We’re now climbing up to cross a high ridge that stands between Clevedon and the River Avon, and there’s a short climbing lane that will open up to get us to the top. On the way back down the carriageways split apart, with the other side above us to our right, and occasional views across to the Severn Estuary on our left.
