We’re now approaching Weston-super-Mare, a major seaside resort, and the first holiday destination served by the M5. In summer months this is where some of the holiday traffic begins to disperse, though in truth the road will continue to get busier, and most sun seekers will carry on beyond the end of the motorway at Exeter.
